Frequently Asked Questions

   1. Do you pay bills or ask customers for payment? 

No. I am responsible for record keeping. I will categorize your income and expenses, reconcile all transactions in Xero to your bank statements, and prepare financial statements. I do not pay your bills or ask customers for payment.

2. If I have questions, can I reach out to you? Will I need to pay an additional fee?

You may reach out to me at any time! You will have access to my email and Voxer (which is like having me in your back pocket at all times!) In Voxer, you can leave me a text or voice message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. There is no additional charge, giving you unlimited support.

3. Will you prepare my tax return?

No, I do not prepare taxes. However, if you are in need of a CPA who prepares taxes, I will see if someone in my network is available. When you do have a tax preparer, I will be in direct contact with them to help make tax filing as easy as possible.

4. What if I don't have books? Or what if I do have books already, but they are a complete mess? 

No worries, I'm here to help! I offer catch-up services in addition to monthly bookkeeping services. If we decide to work together monthly, and you need catch-up service, I will offer the catch-up service at a discounted rate.

5. Is there a time commitment?

No, you may cancel at any time

6. What accounting software do you use? 

I use Xero and include the subscription in your monthly fee. However, if you currently use a different software, we can discuss if switching to Xero makes sense for you. If we do decide to switch you to Xero from another accounting software, the migration is free. However, if we decide to stay with your previous accounting software, there will be an upcharge.

If you currently don't use any accounting software, that is ok! Sometimes it is easier to start fresh in Xero. We can discuss further during the onboarding call.

7. Do you have a referral program?

Yes! If you are a monthly client, and you refer someone to me and we begin working together, I will pay you a referral fee.

8. Is my business too small?

No! No business is too small. Accurately tracking your sales, costs, and profits is how you make smart business decisions. With my help, you will be able to clearly focus on the growth of your business.
